About Product
The Chateau L'evangile Pomerol is a red blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc. The Cabernet Franc gives way to a pleasant hint of herbaceousness, while the Merlot makes way for blackberries, licks of licorice, and a pleasant plumminess. Having been matured in Oak barrels for 18 months gives the wine a hint of vanilla. Medium to full bodied, with a nice dry tannic structure, low acidity, and a nice medium, long dry finish. Ready to serve and enjoy now, but also has potential to cellar longer.
