The Blandy's Madeira Colheita Malmsey 2004 vintage is a pure expression of Malvasia. Bottled in 2019, Blandy's 2004 Colheita Malmsey has a distinctly intense fragrance of marmalade, sultanas, candied peel, toasted pecans and cigar smoke. Nicely balanced and layered with lively acid, this Madeira has a wonderful unity of sweetness and structure on the palate with a lengthy finish. One of the more standout expressions of Madeira on the market, this wine is best enjoyed chilled at 15°C (59°F) as either a dessert wine or alongside fruit-based desserts.

Tasting Notes

Nose: A strong medley of marmalade, toasted nuts, crystallized fruit, honey, walnuts, and brandy spice.

Palate: Supple and full-bodied with a satiny texture. Viscously sweet with a lengthy finish.

Finish:
