Casa Ferreirinha "Barca Velha", Douro, 2011, is made from 100% Torriga Nacional by one of the Douro's pioneers in quality non-fortified wines.  A big bodied earthy wine, it shows just how good a still wine from the Douro can be.  Good to drink now but can age for up to fifteen years.
